Archive Trails I wallpaper by Little Greene: trailing flowers from the archive

With Archive Trails I wallpaper you bring designs from old archives back onto your wall. Trailing branches with flowers form the common thread in the patterns you see here, but the execution varies greatly. Stitch and Sakura keep it flat and calm, with a limited colour palette. Paradise goes the other way: large leaves with colour gradients, flowers in coral red and lilac-blue and birds with long tails. This way you can choose within one collection between a wall that stays in the background and a wall that fills the entire space.

Patterns in the Archive Trails I wallpaper collection

Stitch wallpaper features yellow flowers with a blue-green outline and sage-green leaves in diagonal trails across a grey-beige background. With Sakura wallpaper, branches with light pink and white blossoms and heart-shaped leaves wind vertically over an ochre-mustard yellow background with a light texture. Paradise wallpaper is denser and larger in scale, with birds among the leaves and flowers on off-white. Darwin wallpaper depicts an exotic scene modelled after a hand-painted Chinese piece. China Rose wallpaper centres on an exuberant floral pattern with faded, matte colours. Gustav wallpaper has the scale of a large damask motif, executed in subdued colours. Vine wallpaper is a nod to William Morris and comes in a blue colour scheme.

Little Greene wallpaper in bathroom, stairwell and next to the window

The images show how differently these patterns work in a space. In the bathroom, Stitch ties in with blue-grey woodwork, brass taps and a rattan mirror. Sakura creates a warm yellow wall next to the window, beside a simple white table. Paradise fills a stairwell, next to a green sofa and a large bouquet. If you're looking for calm, choose a flat pattern from Archive Trails I by Little Greene. If you're looking for movement, Paradise is the obvious choice.
