Brisbane fabric by Camengo: stripes, lines and speckles in natural

The Brisbane fabric collection by Camengo features seven abstract patterns for curtains and upholstery. Natural and cream always form the basis, with brown, ochre or black as a contrasting colour. The images show Yarra as a curtain with narrow black stripes alongside broken ochre-yellow lines, against a taupe plastered wall. Kara falls in generous pleats in front of a black frame with a rounded corner and displays arcs and right angles in white on beige. Adelaide covers a round sofa in a dense speckle in copper brown. This gives you lines, planes and texture within one colour family.

Patterns in the Brisbane fabric collection by Camengo

Yarra fabric combines jagged black stripes with thinner, broken ochre-yellow stripes on an off-white ground with a linen texture. In Kara fabric, groups of parallel lines form arcs and quarter circles, slightly raised in white, with fine rust-brown strokes over them. Adelaide fabric is small-scale and dense: irregular spots in copper brown and cream with a velvet-like appearance. Nunga fabric features wavy lines with dotted contours in multiple layers running across the fabric. The title pattern Brisbane fabric alternates vertical strips with rectangular planes in beige, sand and cream white. Tasman fabric has a chevron that resembles wickerwork, and Cape York fabric places vertical rectangles and lines in ochre and brown on a mottled background.

Combining Brisbane by Camengo in your interior

The images show how this Camengo fabric goes with calm materials: taupe plasterwork, black frames, light wood and white bouclé. If you choose a striped or graphic curtain, a sofa in Adelaide can pick up the warm brown tone. If you want to keep it calm, stay close to natural and cream and let the pattern do the work. A cushion in a second pattern from the range completes the combination.
