Country Walk wallpaper collection Mulberry

Country Walk wallpaper by Mulberry: ducks, forest and marbled paper

The Country Walk wallpaper by Mulberry takes you outside and then back to the library. In this collection wild ducks fly over foliage, deer walk through a forest and rows of coloured arches hang as on the endpaper of an old book. In between are a striped pattern and a motif derived from a woollen plaid. Blue and green form the basis, with accents of ochre, brick red and sand. The patterns repeat continuously, so that an entire wall becomes one cohesive image.

Patterns in the Country Walk wallpaper collection

In Forest Ducks wallpaper ducks with green necks and orange-brown heads all fly diagonally in the same direction, over foliage in blue and cream. Duck Pond wallpaper shows a collection of British ducks around an ornamental pond. In Mulberry Woodland wallpaper deer live in a forest of vibrant colours, and Grand Mulberry Woodland wallpaper connects to it in name. Mulberry Forest wallpaper shows a dappled canopy, Country Walk wallpaper a lush pattern of maple-like leaves that change colour. End Paper wallpaper is abstract: small, overlapping arches in green, turquoise, brick red and ochre, with the irregular edges of real marbled paper. Newport Stripe wallpaper sets dark blue bands with an ikat-like chevron pattern next to fine light blue lines and red dotted lines. Nevis wallpaper translates the check of a woollen plaid to the wall.

Combining Mulberry wallpaper with furniture and textiles

The images show how widely you can use these patterns. Forest Ducks hangs in a white dining room with wooden chairs and rush seats, where the blue ties in with the sea view. In front of Newport Stripe stand a striped armchair and a kilim in pink and turquoise. Stripe on stripe, and it works. End Paper is accompanied by a stack of old books in linen covers. Country Walk by Mulberry therefore tolerates pattern on pattern, as long as blue and green recur.
