London Wallpapers V wallpaper by Little Greene: peacock feathers, stars and palm leaves

The London Wallpapers V wallpaper is all about repeating motifs: a light pattern on a plain background, in two or three colours. Yet the patterns vary widely. On one wall, peacock feathers fan out densely over one another; on another, white stars stand in neat rows; and a third builds vertical stripes from stacked palm leaves. The colour also differs per pattern, from saturated blue to pastel pink and neutral beige. This way, within a single Little Greene collection, you decide for yourself how prominent the wallpaper is in the room.

Carlton House Terrace wallpaper covers the wall with peacock feathers in fine cream lines on mid-blue, with a magenta eye in each feather. Lower George Street wallpaper is smaller and more graphic: white stars are set in staggered rows on a pink background. In Lauderdale wallpaper, stylised palm leaves form vertical stripes, off-white on beige, with a slightly irregular, printed texture. St James's Park wallpaper is a large damask pattern that starts dark at the bottom and becomes lighter towards the top. Brook Street wallpaper has a woven, reed-like motif that runs all over the wall, and Marlborough wallpaper features a large-scale pattern. You'll also find New Bond Street wallpaper, Bedford Square wallpaper, Lansdowne Walk wallpaper, Wilton wallpaper and Brodsworth wallpaper in the series.

Combining London Wallpapers V by Little Greene in your interior

The images show how you can combine these patterns. Carlton House Terrace is paired with blue paintwork and a magenta velvet armchair that picks up the colour of the feathers. Lower George Street sits above a green-painted lower wall in a workspace with an old wooden table. Lauderdale hangs next to the bed, above a dark skirting board that makes the light stripes stand out. With this Little Greene wallpaper you first choose the motif and build the room around it.
