Aroma Silk wallpaper collection Greenland

Aroma Silk wallpaper by Greenland: walls with the texture of raw thread

Aroma Silk wallpaper is about surface rather than pattern. In the main image of Cloud Glow, you see a cream to light beige wall with a fine horizontal woven texture, reminiscent of raw silk or grasscloth. Soft, cloud-like tonal variations drift across the surface, and here and there a thin slub runs through the thread. You won't find a repeat anywhere. From a distance the wall looks almost uniform. Only up close do you notice the irregularities in the thread. This gives a calm room real depth.

Patterns in the Aroma Silk wallpaper collection

Aroma Silk by Greenland includes 23 patterns. Cloud Glow wallpaper is the light, cloud-like version shown in the main image. For the other patterns, the names point the way. Some refer to stone, wood and nature, such as Travertine wallpaper, Warm Brick wallpaper, Wood Shade wallpaper, Rustic Brown wallpaper, Maple Shade wallpaper, Pine Scape wallpaper and Moss Bloom wallpaper. Others evoke gold or sheen: Golden Black wallpaper, Frostgold wallpaper, Sunset Gold wallpaper, Vermilion Gold wallpaper, Amber Glow wallpaper, Nano Glow wallpaper, Frost Gleam wallpaper, Moss Sheen wallpaper and Ink Chrome wallpaper. Lighter in tone are Bloom White wallpaper, Bloom Mist wallpaper, Micro Pearl wallpaper and Ethereal wallpaper. You'll also find Ebony Mist Drift wallpaper and Prism Texture wallpaper.

Combining Aroma Silk wallpaper with wood and ceramics

The main image shows how Greenland wallpaper pairs with a walnut sideboard, a wooden Venetian blind and ceramic sculptures. A black desk lamp with hinged arms casts its shadow on the cream wall, while a red mug with green dots and a blue-and-white striped bowl add colour. Because the wall itself has no pattern, objects like these get room to stand out. Light from the left brings out the horizontal thread, so you see the texture most where daylight grazes the wall.
