Maple Shade wallpaper Greenland

Maple Shade wallpaper by Greenland: red-brown woven texture for the wall

Maple Shade wallpaper brings a warm rust-brown colour to the wall, with a woven texture you only notice when you come closer. Fine horizontal threads run across the entire surface, interrupted by small slubs that give it a textile-like character. There is no motif and no pattern repeat, so the eye never gets caught on anything. From a distance the wall looks even, while the light plays across the threads. This gives a room depth without visual clutter. The design is part of the Aroma Silk wallpaper collection.

Colours of Maple Shade wallpaper and Cloud Mist

Maple Shade itself is red-brown with darker and lighter threads intermingled. In shadow, the shade deepens to a rich burgundy. Combine it with dark walnut, cognac leather and sandstone, or pair it with an ink-blue paint colour for contrast. If you prefer to keep things lighter, take a look at Cloud Mist: cream to light beige with almost-white and greige threads, lovely with oak, linen and lime paint. Greenland produces the design in seven colourways, including Fern Moss, Rock Hush and Platinum Glow.

Where Greenland wallpaper with a silk look comes into its own

In a dining room or library, the red-brown tone makes the space intimate and warm, especially in the evening by lamplight. If you paper all the walls, you create an enveloping whole. If you choose one wall behind the sofa or bed, it becomes the calm focal point of the room. The silk look shows best where light grazes the wall from the side. At Selected Wallpapers you will find this Maple Shade wallpaper by Greenland alongside the six other colourways.
