Linaza wallpaper by Nobilis: linen look in earthy colours

Linaza wallpaper gives your wall the appearance of weathered linen, without a pattern that demands attention. Up close you see fine horizontal and vertical thread lines, with small colour variations that keep the surface lively. From a distance the wall reads as one calm colour. The photo shows two surfaces side by side: on the left ochre with a mustard-gold glow, on the right dark brown with a bronze undertone. A cream-white chair with organic holes casts its shadow on them, and it's precisely in that grazing light that the texture of this Nobilis wallpaper comes to the fore.

The pattern in the Linaza wallpaper collection

The collection revolves around one pattern: Linaza wallpaper. It's a plain with a layered linen-look texture print and a matte finish. The structure is so small-scale that you don't see a pattern repeat, only colour with depth. Linaza by Nobilis comes in nineteen colours, all in an earthy range. The photo shows how different they can be: the ochre surface catches the light and feels warm, while the dark brown with its bronze hint gives the corner more depth. Because the thread structure remains the same in every colour, you can place two shades next to each other, as here along one vertical seam. The contrast then lies in the colour, not in the surface.

Nobilis wallpaper in your interior: working with ochre and brown

Because Linaza has no motif, it leaves room for furniture and objects with their own shape. The chair in the photo demonstrates this: an irregular silhouette against a calm wall, with a shadow full of light spots that almost creates a second drawing on the ochre. If you choose a lighter shade from the range, the space remains open. A dark colour like the brown gives a corner or niche more weight, especially where the light falls from the side.
