PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Alcove II wallpaper by Elitis: velvet in 25 colours
Alcove II wallpaper by Elitis is a plain velvet with a short, dense pile. In shadow, the colour looks deep and matt; where light falls on the wall, the velvet takes on a soft sheen. Elitis has reissued the design with a broader colour card of 25 shades, from light neutrals to deep, saturated colours.
How Alcove II wallpaper is hung
The lengths are 130 cm wide and you order per metre. Thanks to the free match, you lose no material to a pattern repeat. You paste the wall. As with any textile wallpaper, the seams between the lengths remain slightly visible; that is part of the material. The face is 100% polyester and can be lightly wiped clean during hanging. Elitis makes this wallpaper in France.
Alcove or Alcove II?
Alcove II is the successor to the original Alcove wallpaper. You will find the Alcove colour numbers, such as RM 410 01 and RM 410 03, here, along with new shades.
More from this series
From the same sample book comes Garconniere wallpaper, a ribbed velvet. The entire series is in the Elitis Alcove wallpaper collection; you can find the full brand at Elitis wallpaper. Looking for a calm wall without a pattern? Also take a look at plain wallpaper and textile wallpaper.
