Florette's original design was discovered in The Architects Book of 100 Wallpapers , published in 1954. The publication was a leading source for modern wallcoverings at the time. Florette was noted for its spontaneous, almost floating line drawings of dandelions that seemed to lose themselves in a loosely drawn trellis pattern — an airy representation of natural elegance.
