PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Cynara wallpaper by Inkiostro Bianco: fans and scales in fine lines
Cynara wallpaper builds up your wall in layers, from top to bottom. At the top, large fans around a metre wide open up, while below them rows of arch shapes overlap like the leaves of an artichoke. At the bottom, the lines continue as vertical stripes. Everything is drawn in fine parallel lines, flat and graphic, with a clear nod to Art Deco. This gives a plain wall rhythm and direction.
Colours of Cynara wallpaper: from Midday to Midnight
Cynara comes in nine colourways, divided between Midday, Midnight and Sunrise. In Midday A the design sits on a light grey background, with light beige fans and scales that fade from dark brown at the top to dusty pink and beige at the bottom. Midday B shows only the vertical lines: fine taupe lines on a light greyish-beige ground, interrupted by lighter wide bands. You can use it alongside the layered version, for example on an adjacent wall. Looking for more contrast? A dark blue background with white, pink and light blue lines gives the design considerably more impact.
Inkiostro Bianco wallpaper in the bathroom
In the mood photo, the dark blue version hangs in a bathroom. The large fans fill the wall above an arched concrete shower niche, the scales frame a round illuminated mirror and the stripes continue behind a white floating washbasin. Brass taps and a brown towel bring warmth to the cool blue. Cynara wallpaper by Inkiostro Bianco thus shows how a single design can structure an entire wall.
