Aubin wallpaper collection Romo

Aubin wallpaper by Romo: stripes and small patterns in warm tones

The Aubin wallpaper collection by Romo centres on simple repeating motifs, in a limited and warm colour palette. Wide and fine vertical stripes sit alongside a dense pattern of small spots, always on a light or earthy background. Apricot, cream, taupe, terracotta and ochre yellow recur throughout, allowing the patterns to work well together. In the images the wallpaper hangs in a bedroom, behind a sofa and next to a sideboard. It always remains in the background, with enough pattern to give the wall character — and space for the furniture in front.

Patterns in the Aubin wallpaper collection

Orsin wallpaper has wide vertical bands of about ten centimetres in light pink apricot and cream, edged with a narrow terracotta line. The effect is graphic and clean, highly visible behind a headboard. Alma wallpaper works on a smaller scale: thin double lines in taupe on cream, lightly stippled like stitching, with space in between. Junie wallpaper abandons the stripe and fills the wall with small cream curls and spots on ochre yellow, without a fixed direction. Remi wallpaper builds a repeat of gently undulating, hand-drawn lines, while Kezia wallpaper looks like ink on textile. Eleni wallpaper has an abstract, organic pattern with soft metallic accents. The title pattern Aubin wallpaper gives the collection its name.

Combining Romo wallpaper in your home

Because the colours in Aubin by Romo coordinate, you can alternate patterns from room to room without the house losing its coherence. The wide stripes of Orsin give a bedroom height, the fine lines of Alma keep a living room calm and Junie brings warmth to a hallway or study. Green fabrics, terracotta accents and jute on the floor complement it well, as the images show.
