Order wallpaper samples
See and feel the wallpaper at home, and get your sample costs back
A screen shows you the pattern, but not how the light falls across the texture, how the color works next to your floor and furniture, or how the material feels. That is why at Selected Wallpapers you first order a sample of almost every wallpaper. You look at it in your own room, in daylight and in the evening, and only then make your decision.
How to order a wallpaper sample
- On the product page, choose the color you want to see.
- Select Sample as the option and add the sample to your cart.
- Complete your order. Your samples arrive within 5 to 10 business days, with tracking.
Up to €30 cashback on your samples
You get your sample costs back. Once your sample order has shipped, we email you a personal discount code worth the value of your samples, up to €30. Order €30 worth of samples and you get €30 credit on your wallpaper order. The button in that email puts the discount straight into your cart.

How much does a wallpaper sample cost?
A sample costs from €5. You will find the price on the product page under the Sample option. With the cashback, you get your sample costs back as credit on your wallpaper order, up to €30.
How many samples can I order?
You order one sample per color, with a maximum of 10 samples per order. Torn between more colors? Ask us for advice and we will help you narrow down your choice.
Which wallpapers can I order a sample of?
Almost all the wallpaper, fabrics and murals in our collection. If a product has no Sample option, the manufacturer does not supply a sample of it (at least for now). For made-to-measure wallpaper, request a sample from us by email.
How quickly will my samples arrive?
Within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the manufacturer and the destination. We ship every sample order with tracking.
Do I need to return the samples?
No, you can keep your samples. Handy for holding them up against a paint swatch or fabric later on.
How does the cashback on wallpaper samples work?
Once your sample order has shipped, you receive a personal discount code by email worth the value of your samples, up to €30. We count a maximum of six samples: order six samples at €5 and you get €30 credit. The cashback covers the cost of the samples, not the shipping costs.
Where and when can I use my credit?
On an order of €99 or more in our webshop, within 30 days of receiving the code. You can use the code once; it cannot be combined with other discounts or exchanged for cash.
Does my credit also count toward a quote?
Yes. If you request a quote from us after ordering samples, we automatically apply your credit to the quote (for quotes of €99 or more). We do not apply the credit to quotes for PRO accounts with their own price list.
Which countries do you ship samples to?
We ship samples to the Netherlands, Belgium, most other European countries and the United States. You will see the shipping costs at checkout. In the US, not every brand offers samples: for brands with price on request, you cannot order one there. We do not ship samples to the United Kingdom; if you live there, we are happy to advise you on color and material by email.
Can I also see samples at your studio?
Yes. At our studio at Vlasakker 12 in Montfoort (Utrecht), you can browse collections, feel samples and get personal advice. We work by appointment, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., so we can give you our full attention. Make an appointment.
