Tuskara wallpaper
Tuskara wallpaper is printed to the size of your wall instead of sold by the roll, and that single difference changes how you plan a room from the first measurement onward. Every design here comes from Dennis van Zanden, a Dutch designer based in Enschede whose family roots reach back to South Africa. His botanical and organic motifs read as artwork first and as pattern second.
How made-to-measure Tuskara wallpaper is ordered
Each design is produced per square meter and scaled to the dimensions you supply, so the motif lands where you want it rather than wherever a repeat happens to fall. Measure in feet and inches, then convert once. A living room or primary bedroom wall often runs about 12 ft (3.66 m) wide under a 9 ft (2.74 m) ceiling. Take the width at floor level and again up near the ceiling, because few walls in an older house come out the same at both ends. Measure over the drywall as it stands, and add the width of any fireplace chase or wall return. If a design carries a strong horizontal line, tell us the ceiling height before ordering, because that height decides where the line sits. The same working method runs through our wider range of made-to-measure murals.
Botanical drawing and color across the collection
The work is layered rather than repetitive, built up the way a painting is. Leaf shapes, tropical flora and abstract texture sit in palettes that stay quiet from across the room and open up when you stand close. Orchid Mist reads as a hazy field of orchids. The Daisy Effect is lighter and more playful. Amara leans into warm tropical shapes with real weight behind them. If those greens and soft neutrals suit your rooms, the wider botanical wallpaper and green wallpaper selections show what sits comfortably beside them.
Where these designs earn their place
A powder room takes a large motif better than most people expect, because you see the whole design at once and never lose half of it behind a sofa. An entryway does the same job for the rest of the house. In a primary bedroom, keep the busiest designs on the headboard wall and leave the other three quiet. A breakfast nook suits the softer floral work, which holds its color through morning light and again under lamps at night. For comparison, look at the broader tropical wallpaper, palm leaves wallpaper and floral wallpaper ranges.
Samples and light before you commit
Daylight and lamplight pull a palette in opposite directions, further than most people allow for, so order a Tuskara wallpaper sample and tape it to the wall it is meant for. Leave it there a couple of days and look at it in the morning as well as after dark. Check it with the curtains open and again with them drawn, because window dressing shifts the tone as well. Warm bulbs push the earthy tones toward beige, while north-facing rooms cool them down. Two samples pinned side by side settle a decision faster than any screen.
Buying Tuskara wallpaper from a European specialist
We ship from the Netherlands, and duties and taxes are included in the price shown, so nothing lands on your doorstep afterward. Orders and samples go through the site, and our team is glad to talk through scale, color and where a seam is best placed. That conversation is worth having when a wall covering is cut for one wall and one wall only, because this line is not something you top up by the roll a year later.
