Chicago Cam fabric by Camengo: graphic patterns in black, cream and gold

The Chicago Cam fabric by Camengo is all about repeating geometry: arches, planes, circles and weaving, executed in black, cream and gold tones. As a curtain, the fabric shows thin lines that draw a calm rhythm on a light ground. On a sofa, the pattern becomes compact and glossy. You can see this interplay in the mood images too, where a linear curtain hangs behind an ochre-coloured sofa and brass lamps echo the gold tone. You can use the patterns individually or let them work together in one space, from window to seating.

Patterns in the Chicago Cam fabric collection

Illinois fabric is the densest pattern. Short bars in ochre and gold cross each other alternately on a black ground, like basket weaving, with thin cream-white stripes in it. The surface shines like velvet, making this pattern suitable for upholstery. Grand Rex fabric stacks round arches in staggered rows, drawn with double dotted lines in black on off-white. Souffle De Vitrail fabric opts for straight shapes: rows of irregular, slightly tapered rectangles with narrow, curved black accents on a linen-like, natural ground. With Années Folles fabric, layered gold-coloured lines draw curved and angular shapes on cream-white. Chicago fabric combines concentric circles with angular lines in beige, taupe, anthracite and gold.

Combining Chicago Cam by Camengo in your interior

The mood images show how the patterns complement each other. The sleek weaving of Illinois on a low sofa gains calm from a linear curtain behind it, while armchairs in ochre striped velvet work well with the black arches of Grand Rex. If you choose the Chicago Cam fabric in multiple places, use one bold pattern on the furniture and keep the windows lighter. Cushions in ochre and beige tie everything together.
