Indienne wallpaper collection Arte

Indienne wallpaper by Arte: palms, arches and plain linen look

Indienne wallpaper by Arte brings images from India to your wall, translated into a linen look with a visible weave structure. The collection has two sides. On one side are figurative patterns with palms, arches and panoramas, on the other calm plains that rely mainly on their texture. The colours stay close to nature: sage green, grey-green and a cool blue-grey. This makes it easy to combine the patterns with each other, for example a pattern on one wall and a plain variant in the rest of the room. This gives your space a sense of calm without it becoming flat.

Patterns in the Indienne wallpaper collection

Agra wallpaper shows stylised palm trees in staggered rows, symmetrically drawn and with vertical stripes between the trunks. The design is flat and graphic, executed in a light and a dark shade of sage green. Kerala wallpaper also works with palms, but as a panorama that continues across the entire wall. Kashmir wallpaper is also panoramic and takes its colour fields from the shawls you see in Indian markets. Poona wallpaper builds up a rhythm of arches, inspired by the Aga Khan Palace. If you're mainly looking for texture, choose Bundi wallpaper or Mandu wallpaper. Both are plain with a fine weave structure. Bundi is the warmer of the two: grey-green with a subtle yellow glow. Mandu has a cooler tone and shifts from blue-grey to grey-green.

Combining Arte wallpaper from Indienne in your interior

In the images the wallpaper hangs behind cream bouclé, terrazzo and glossy dark ceramic. These combinations show how well the linen look holds its own against soft and hard textures. The palm pattern of Agra gains more depth with a green leaf cushion or a wooden table in front of it. The plains of Indienne by Arte call for objects with a distinct shape, such as a ribbed vase or a lamp with a leaf print. The wall then keeps the décor calm.
