Moire Chanvre Wall wallpaper collection Dedar

Moire Chanvre Wall wallpaper by Dedar with moiré in hemp and linen

The Moire Chanvre Wall wallpaper by Dedar is made from hemp and linen and features a moiré effect: a wavy pattern that lies across the surface as a texture. There is no defined figure or repeating motif. The movement is in the material itself. This wall covering works through structure rather than through a drawn design. The result is a warm, expressive image. In the main photo you can see what this does in a bare space, where nothing distracts from the surface.

The pattern in the Moire Chanvre Wall wallpaper collection

The collection consists of one pattern, Moire Chanvre Wall wallpaper, and revolves entirely around texture. Hemp and linen give the surface a fibrous character. The moiré lays a wavy design over it that you experience more as grain than as pattern. In the mood photo there are two geometric blocks on a glossy floor: on the left a greyish-beige cube, on the right a quarter circle with a hollow arc in ochre yellow. Both have a fine, slightly striped texture reminiscent of moiré. The wall behind is off-white, with irregular beige to light brown fibre streaks across the entire surface. Together they show how fibre and texture can fill a space without needing a motif.

Dedar wallpaper with texture in a calm interior

The main photo shows a space with few items: a dark wooden shelf above a black column radiator, a tall, narrow opening with a red wall and an arc lamp, dark skirting boards and side lighting with soft shadows. In such a setting, a textured wallpaper comes into its own. Moire Chanvre Wall by Dedar suits you if you want a wall that brings calm and still offers something to look at up close.
