Elitis Onomichi fabric with coarse weave and stitched lines

Onomichi fabric from Elitis gives you coarsely woven cloth in brown and beige, with cream and colored lines stitched visibly into the surface. In the photos the fabrics hang as Roman blinds and curtains in rooms with wood-paneled walls and wooden window frames, next to dried grasses, a black vase with proteas and a wooden jug. Where daylight falls through, the weave shows its slubs and threads. Each design keeps to its own pattern: rows of triangles, scattered symbols or a check. The colors stay close to wood and dry grass.

Designs in the Onomichi fabric collection

Miko fabric has a rust-brown ground with widely spaced vertical bands of cream triangles pointing down, stacked in pairs, with a black and white dotted stitch running through the center of each band. Hiro fabric is sheer and slubbed, covered in circles, arcs, triangles and letter-like forms drawn in sage-green and cream dashed stitches; a dark brown version with cream motifs also exists. Hanaki fabric sets brown and amber stripes of varying widths on beige, crossed at wide intervals by thin blue dotted lines that form a large check. Kana fabric puts white diagonal lines and diamond motifs on a sand-colored weave. Mitsumi fabric alternates wide bands of light blue and beige with ivory and ends in a fringe along the bottom edge. Erika fabric pairs a band of stylized gold medallions on ivory with a wide plain zone in cream.

These fabrics show best as Roman blinds or curtains, where daylight brings out the coarse thread. If you want calm, choose a stripe or the check. For movement on the cloth, the scattered symbols give the eye more to follow. Every Elitis fabric in this range stays with brown and beige, with blue or green as an accent, so you can mix patterns in one room. At Selected Wallpapers you can compare the Onomichi fabric designs and choose the one for your windows.
