Orient Express wallpaper collection Mind the Gap

Orient Express wallpaper by Mind the Gap: the train journey on your wall

With Orient Express wallpaper you bring the train journey inside, with suitcases, stations and landscapes that seem to slide past the window. The Orient Express by Mind the Gap is a figurative collection full of details. You see luggage stacked in golden frames, horses in medallions and a forest that continues across the entire wall without visible repetition. Some patterns are subdued and painted, others bold and illustrative. Most of them tell a story about being on the road, from the luggage car to the view through the station concourse.

Patterns in the Orient Express wallpaper collection

Branchy wallpaper is a continuous panorama of deciduous trees in olive green, ochre and brown, painted like a classic landscape. By contrast, there is Fancy Trip wallpaper. On a mint green background, golden rococo arches alternate, containing stacked suitcases, hatboxes, a birdcage, a parrot and a white dog. Venetian Ornament wallpaper has a more structured composition: saddled horses in medallions, framed by laurel garlands and twisted columns on green. In The Luggage Car wallpaper leather suitcases lie in the train's luggage rack, while Grand Suit Keys wallpaper shows colourful keys in a wooden display case. Gare du Nord wallpaper populates a train station with fantasy creatures and The Station View wallpaper opens up a panorama through the station concourse. If you're looking for calm, choose Nouage wallpaper: a sky full of clouds, without beginning or end.

Combining Mind the Gap wallpaper in your interior

The lifestyle images show how much freedom these patterns give you. Branchy hangs behind a green chest of drawers with a brass lamp and a rattan chair, and keeps the room calm. In a bedroom, Venetian Ornament is paired with a blue headboard, an ikat bedspread and a striped kilim — pattern on pattern, and it works. Fancy Trip works well above white panelling, with a leaf-print sofa in front of it. So with Orient Express wallpaper, the rest of the room is free to join in.
