Sangpi wallpaper collection Elitis

Elitis Sangpi wallpaper with embossed patchwork texture

Sangpi wallpaper by Elitis builds a wall out of rectangles in many sizes, stacked vertically and horizontally like patchwork. The surface is embossed and mottled, so it reads almost like leather, and light catches along the raised edges of each plane. That same texture runs through the whole collection. In some designs it carries the wall alone, in one color family. In others it sits quietly behind large painted panoramas of color blocks or dense plants. You choose between a calm, layered wall and one that hangs like a painting.

Designs in the Sangpi wallpaper collection

The title design, Sangpi wallpaper, shows the texture on its own. It is deep emerald green with lighter green and bluish green patches, tone on tone, with no motif on top. Aspirations Fusionnelles wallpaper lays tall, tapered shapes over an off white ground in pink, yellow, orange, purple, gray and dark red, their edges blurred like wet brushwork. The patchwork still shows through between them. L'Eden et Apres wallpaper turns figurative, with stems, leaves and white lilies painted loosely at full wall scale in ochre, olive, brown and pale blue. Brumes Laquees wallpaper is an abstract panorama with a misty character, where sky and space drift into each other. Terres Lointaines wallpaper builds a large composition of abstract planes that gives the wall depth.

Sangpi by Elitis in the kitchen, living room and dining room

The room shots show how each design works with what stands in front of it. Green Sangpi picks up the veining of a green marble kitchen island, with a terracotta pink door as the counterpoint. Aspirations Fusionnelles covers a living room wall behind a white sofa and a black chair on a chrome frame. L'Eden et Apres fills a dining nook framed in red marble, where a black oval table stands out against the ochre.
