Tribus wallpaper collection Elitis

Elitis Tribus wallpaper with natural fiber texture

Tribus wallpaper puts the fiber itself on your wall. In this collection from Elitis, sisal, raffia and arrowroot textures keep their weave in view: fine horizontal threads, small shifts in color from one panel to the next, and seams you can still see. Some designs are plain and rely entirely on that surface, in dark brown or olive green. Others carry a pattern on top, from large squares to stripes and embroidery. Within one collection, you can choose between a quiet backdrop and a wall people stop to look at.

Designs in the Tribus wallpaper collection

Comporta wallpaper sets cream and apricot squares in a grid on a raffia look. Each square holds soft semicircles whose edges blur the way ikat does. Favoris wallpaper is dark brown with lighter strands running through it. In the photo it wraps a run of built-in wardrobe doors until they almost disappear into the wall. Sisal wallpaper has the same fine horizontal grain in olive and khaki. Sisal Metallique wallpaper lays that sisal texture over a metallic ground with a soft sheen. Grasscloth wallpaper is plain, with a coarse arrowroot weave. Carthagene wallpaper runs large vertical stripes across sisal. Itza wallpaper is an abstract design on a panel, and Samarkand wallpaper is a woven covering with an embroidered pattern full of movement. Iskandar wallpaper and Lazgi wallpaper round out the range.

Tribus by Elitis in the bedroom and living room

The photos show how far this Elitis wallpaper stretches. Favoris sits in a bedroom next to an orange-red checked blanket and beige curtains. In a living room, the olive Sisal backs a gray sectional piled with cushions in ochre, brown and green. Comporta pairs with terracotta tiles, white plaster and light wood, which pick up the warmth of its squares. Selected Wallpapers carries all ten Tribus wallpaper designs, so you can match fiber and color to the room you have in mind.
