Velveteen wallpaper by Arte: velvet with relief

Velveteen wallpaper by Arte brings relief to the wall with soft velvet and a 3D effect that gives the wall depth. The patterns play with grooves and lines in one muted colour, from cream to greyish pink and beige-taupe. This allows the light to take centre stage. It glides over the ridges and arches, making the texture alternately light up and recede. Up close you see every groove. From a distance it becomes a calm surface with movement in it. The patterns are divided into panels or tile-like sections, giving the wall an architectural rhythm.

Patterns in the Velveteen wallpaper collection

Ridge wallpaper is the most streamlined pattern: narrow vertical ridges with rounded ends, close together in horizontal panels of equal height. In cream-ivory the wall becomes a calm, grooved surface behind a desk with brass accents. Vector wallpaper works with straight lines. Diagonals, diamonds, chevrons and grids fill square sections, with light lines on a mottled mauve to greyish pink background. It looks graphic yet soft. Twirl wallpaper opts for curves. Large-scale concentric quarter circles in beige-taupe turn in a different direction on each tile. This creates a wall that seems to move. Tetra wallpaper completes the series, with the same soft velvet and 3D relief as the rest of this Arte collection.

Styling Velveteen wallpaper by Arte in your interior

The images show how you can let the relief speak. Brass lamps and armrests look warm against the muted tones, and a glossy black floor heightens the contrast. With Twirl, an ochre-yellow button-tufted sofa adds a bold splash of colour in front of the wall; with Vector, burgundy chairs in curly fur do the same. If you choose furniture with texture or metal, Velveteen by Arte remains the calm, tactile background.
