Vista wallpaper collection Thibaut

Vista wallpaper by Thibaut: leaves, flowering vines and stripes

The Vista wallpaper by Thibaut is drawn in lines you would think were set by hand. In the lifestyle images everything grows from bottom to top: leaves on a straight stem, flowers on a winding vine, stripes with a serrated edge. This vertical structure gives a wall height, even in a low alcove or a bedroom with a four-poster bed. The colours stay close to nature, from light blue on deep petrol blue to orange and rust brown on white and olive green on beige. If you're looking for a wall that speaks rather than shouts, this is where you start.

Patterns in the Vista wallpaper collection

Lacinato wallpaper arranges large, serrated leaves in columns across the wall, light blue and cream on dark petrol blue, with dots and small flowers in each leaf. In the alcove in the photo, the pattern continues on the upholstery of the bench. Desert flower wallpaper is lighter in tone: fan-shaped flowers on winding stems, orange and rust brown with dark brown contours on white. A calmer rhythm can be found in Trail head wallpaper, with cream-coloured bands and green sawtooth edges on beige. In the photo, a small olive-green leaf motif sits above it on the ceiling. The collection includes seven more patterns: Artesian wallpaper, Reflection wallpaper, Tetons wallpaper, Ridge wallpaper, Indian wells wallpaper, Bucks wallpaper and Alpine wallpaper. Tetons is based on mountain landscapes, while Reflection and Indian wells work with geometric patterns.

Combining Thibaut wallpaper with wood, rope and linen

The lifestyle images show which materials this Thibaut wallpaper seeks out. Next to Lacinato you'll find dark wood and a glass vase with viburnum branches. Desert flower forms the background for a mirror with a rope frame and an armchair in a geometric woven fabric. Trail head is paired with linen curtains and a headboard with a kilim motif. Vista by Thibaut calls for materials you can touch — and for a space that grants the patterns their height.
