Creative Collection Chapter 8 wallpaper by Glamora: murals with a weathered skin

The Creative Collection Chapter 8 wallpaper by Glamora consists of wall-filling murals that look as if they have been on the wall for years. Scratches, weathered patches and smudged paint form the base. On top of this appear plants, a faded landscape or an abstract pattern. The palette stays muted and earthy, from petrol blue and taupe to ochre, khaki and cream. Because the designs run all the way up to wall height, such a wall works as one large image. With this Glamora wallpaper, you are choosing a wall-sized painting rather than a background.

Nara wallpaper shows Japanese plants at wall height, with grasses, broad leaves, flowering ears and a butterfly. On the right, vertical calligraphy runs across a scratched base in petrol blue and dark green. In Herbage wallpaper the outlines have disappeared, and large leaves and scattered flowers dissolve into a painted landscape of taupe and ochre. Soul wallpaper lets go of nature and builds large rings from small dots and dashes, cream on khaki bronze. Sealife wallpaper shows a school of fish among coral. Meridiana wallpaper displays sweeping palm leaves in gold and brown, and Madama Butterfly wallpaper hides tropical leaves behind folding screens. Mistral wallpaper sets flowers against a dark background, while Jardin des Plantes wallpaper plays with architecture and depth. The collection also includes Scintilla wallpaper, Agua de Sueno wallpaper, Aqua Secreta wallpaper, Arpege wallpaper, Akiko wallpaper, Fleurs des Bois wallpaper and Momoko wallpaper.

The images show how the murals interact with the furnishings. With Nara, a blue armchair and a gold side table pick up colours from the wall. Herbage hangs next to a window overlooking trees, paired with a cognac leather daybed and a brown curtain in the same tones. Soul covers a freestanding wall in front of a bookcase. Calm furniture in leather, metal and plain fabric lets the wall do the talking.
