Willow wallpaper collection 1838 wallcoverings

Willow wallpaper by 1838 wallcoverings: from basket weave to hummingbirds

With Willow wallpaper you bring home a collection that shifts between restrained graphic designs and lush nature scenes. The title print itself is a light grey maze of short, rounded bars with a silvery sheen, tone-on-tone and calm to the eye. In contrast, there are patterns with hummingbirds, butterflies and pink flower clusters on petrol blue, and a mosaic of ochre-coloured patches on black. Willow by 1838 wallcoverings focuses on all-over repeat patterns, so your wall becomes one continuous image from skirting to ceiling.

Patterns in the Willow wallpaper collection

The title pattern Willow wallpaper is a basket weave with a handmade look, in silver, honey, barley and pearl. Rattan wallpaper also features a woven lattice of interlocking shapes, complemented by metallic accents. Fusion wallpaper arranges irregular rectangles in ochre, bronze and grey-green like a dry stone wall on black. If you're looking for figurative designs, choose Hedgerow wallpaper: large coral-red flower clusters, hummingbirds and birds with long tail feathers among ferns drawn as line art. Water Lilies wallpaper shows ink-black water lilies in graduated watercolour tones, also available as Water Lilies Grasscloth wallpaper. With Bramble wallpaper, leaves wind along the wall. Quartz wallpaper and Prism wallpaper use watercolour washes, rendered as marble and as crystal shards with ombré stripes respectively. Ripple wallpaper and Grasscloth wallpaper complete the series.

Combining 1838 wallcoverings wallpaper in your interior

The collection mixes well. In the mood shot, Hedgerow hangs next to a turquoise marbled wallpaper, connected by a petrol-coloured skirting: one figurative wall, one calm. Fusion comes into its own with black metal and dark ceramics, while the light maze print behind a black mantelpiece lets the contours of vases and branches speak. Choose graphic designs and you leave room for objects; choose birds and flowers and the wall carries the story.
