Ambient wallpaper collection Texam

Ambient wallpaper by Texam: structure, fabric and nature on the wall

Ambient wallpaper by Texam begins at the surface. Beneath the textured patterns in this collection lies a fine horizontal weave structure that you can see up close and that comes alive in raking light. On top of that, the designs play with direction and colour: patches running from top to bottom, bands sweeping horizontally across the wall or, by contrast, an almost plain surface. Alongside these textures you'll find motifs with leaves, branches, flowers and fabric falling in folds. The palette runs from light grey to anthracite, complemented by natural tones.

Patterns in the Ambient wallpaper collection

In Hanami wallpaper, irregular vertical patches in light grey and anthracite run across the wall, small-scale and without visible repetition. Moire wallpaper is almost uniformly light grey with a linen-like structure, a calm background for ceramics and books. Bark wallpaper is darker: anthracite with horizontal bands in light and dark grey and a subtle sheen, as if the wind had swept over it. In Takeh wallpaper, leaves and branches meander along the wall, and Tapestry Field wallpaper shows a field full of flowers with a sense of depth. Fabric is the theme of Drapery wallpaper, which folds softly over itself, and of Twisted Rainbow wallpaper, which looks like semi-transparent fabric falling along the wall. Color Shadow wallpaper revolves around shades and colour combinations. Also part of this Texam collection are Reinassance wallpaper and Seaweads wallpaper.

Texam wallpaper from Ambient alongside wood, ceramics and leather

The mood images show how the structure responds to light and material. In a dark room, Hanami forms the backdrop for a wooden Buddha statue on a weathered blue-grey chest, with the hard cast shadows giving the patches extra depth. Moire keeps the wall light and calm behind white and olive-green ceramics. Bark frames a purple-grey armchair with leather cushions and a long-haired fur throw. Light or dark: in Ambient by Texam, the weave structure remains visible.
