Corium wallpaper by Arte: stitched leather tiles for the wall

Corium wallpaper consists of leather tiles stitched together with visible seams, creating a grid of panels on the wall. Arte fills that grid differently each time. Sometimes embroidered ornament appears, sometimes a continuous stitch pattern, and sometimes only the seams remain. The colours range from dark brown with copper through dark green to sand. In the light variant, up close you can see small differences in shade from tile to tile. This way, it remains visible that the wall is made up of separate pieces of leather.

Patterns in the Corium wallpaper collection

Ductia wallpaper places beige, scalloped borders with a copper-coloured rosette on dark brown leather, alternating with fleurs-de-lis and stars in copper, approximately one motif per tile. Jaseran wallpaper is more graphic: beige stitches form interlocking rounded loops on dark green leather, with scattered dots in the spaces in between. In Avenio wallpaper the seams are the only pattern, a grid of vertical rectangles in sand-coloured nubuck. Paladin wallpaper follows that idea with straight, precise stitch lines on satin-finished leather. Palazzo wallpaper combines a play of lines with embroidery on satin-finished leather, and Cassone wallpaper translates the coffered ceilings of the Renaissance into embroidered leather. Gambison wallpaper revolves around the stitched seams of the padded jacket that knights wore under their armour.

Corium by Arte alongside wood, ceramic and glass

In the atmospheric photos, Corium by Arte appears behind dark wood, rough ceramic, glass and aluminium, materials that, like leather, show their texture. Ductia suits a dark environment in which the copper lights up. The small-scale line pattern of Jaseran remains calm next to a white floor and light objects. Avenio gives you a warm wall against which a sculpture draws all the attention. Which Arte wallpaper you choose depends on how much you want the wall itself to say.
