Cosmopolitan N3 wallpaper by Nobilis: banana leaves, clouds and pointed arches

The Cosmopolitan N3 wallpaper by Nobilis is all about lush vegetation and isn't afraid to go big. In this collection, tropical leaves appear alongside stylised clouds and clean geometry. Each pattern works with a limited palette of two or three shades, so even a large motif sits calmly on the wall. The difference lies in subject, direction and colour. One pattern rises vertically, another runs in horizontal bands, and a third forms a dense grid. This lets you choose between cool grey, warm copper brown or a dark wall with rust orange and green.

Patterns in the Cosmopolitan N3 wallpaper collection

La Havane wallpaper shows large banana leaves on upright stems, drawn with frayed edges and executed tone-on-tone in light grey to blue-grey. In Kumo wallpaper, copper-brown clouds with lobed edges slide in horizontal bands over dark brown strips, flat and graphic, with a fine line structure. Tempera wallpaper is abstract: overlapping pointed arches of parallel lines in rust orange and dark green on a dark blue, almost black background. Sur Un Arbre Perche wallpaper brings together leaves and birds in a lush botanical image. In Ipanema wallpaper, large tropical leaves run across the entire wall with a hand-painted look. Baie D'Along wallpaper and Coringa wallpaper belong to the same series, in which lush vegetation is the common theme.

Nobilis wallpaper on the wall: choosing colour and direction

The images show how different the Cosmopolitan N3 collection by Nobilis can look. La Havane looks cool and light in a wall niche, with a rust-brown vase as a warm counterbalance. Kumo turns an entire wall brown behind a stepped object in dark wood. Tempera hangs above dark green panelling, where the green of the pattern is echoed in the panels. If you want to emphasise height, a vertical pattern works well. Horizontal bands, by contrast, make a wall appear wider.
