Elitis Ecume wallpaper with textures from the seabed

Ecume wallpaper by Elitis brings the underwater world onto your walls through texture, shell shapes and shine. Elitis took its cues from layers of sand on the ocean floor, reeds that sway with the current and stone shaped by water. Most designs read like a natural material, from woven linen to rows of stacked shells. The palette stays close to the shore: bronze and beige, lifted here and there by light blue. A few designs go dark on purpose, with silvery reflections that recall light on water at night.

The designs in the Ecume wallpaper collection

Sediment wallpaper looks like woven linen, with fine crossing threads and irregular slubs in taupe brown and golden ochre. There is no motif, so it wraps around a corner and lets two walls read as one surface. Calyptra wallpaper takes the opposite route with staggered rows of overlapping fans, each drawn in fine radiating lines and concentric arcs. In pearl white and silvery cream, the shells catch the light wherever it falls. Filigrane wallpaper has the look of grasscloth, with horizontal strands and small knots in pale beige streaked with grayish blue. Lithos wallpaper shows a layered, irregular surface that recalls stone and limestone. In Palmeraie wallpaper, slender palms seem to float between water and air. Mille et une nuit wallpaper plays with a silvery shine like a mirror, while Nyx wallpaper answers it with dark water where light leaves only fragments of reflection.

Styling Ecume by Elitis with wood, cane and ceramics

In the room photos, Sediment gains depth beside a wooden pedestal and a terracotta jar. Calyptra glows behind a brown sofa, above a jute rug and oak tables. Filigrane forms a pale backdrop for a dark, roughly cut dining table and cane chairs. With Nyx or Mille et une nuit, the position of your lamps decides how the shine shows. At Selected Wallpapers you can compare all seven designs and choose the Ecume wallpaper that suits your light.
