Elitis Elixir de Soies wallpaper with a raw silk look

Elixir de Soies wallpaper by Elitis treats the wall like a painted canvas with the surface of raw silk. Fine horizontal streaks and small slubs run through every design, so even a solid color reads like woven fabric. Over that ground, Elitis lays color and graphics. Some walls stay plain, while others carry a hand-drawn check or a block pattern. The room shots pair the designs with 1960s and 1970s furniture: blue carpet, tufted leather, chrome and red lacquer. Each pattern covers the wall evenly and stands up to bold furniture without competing for attention.

Designs in the Elixir de Soies wallpaper collection

Kosa Silk wallpaper is the plain one. It comes in terracotta orange-red shot through with lighter orange and yellow streaks, with no motif at all, so the texture does the work. Frivole wallpaper sets a small check of brushy strokes in several blues, lilac gray and black on a cream ground. The lines wobble slightly, which keeps the grid loose. Beat wallpaper stacks upright rectangles inside stepped frames in staggered columns, with coral red and metallic bronze on ochre and cream outlines. Twill wallpaper has a graphic pattern with a structure that recalls woven cloth, and Sigil wallpaper scatters hand-painted squares across the wall in a steady rhythm. Three designs are panoramic. Vol-au-vent wallpaper shows painted ribbons floating over a silky ground. Liberté chromatique wallpaper works with large organic fields of color, and Lignes telluriques wallpaper plays vertical lines against horizontal ones.

Styling Elitis wallpaper from Elixir de Soies at home

The photos show a simple approach. Pick up a contrasting color in the furniture and let the wall carry the rest. Against the orange of Kosa Silk, white bedding and a blue carpeted platform cool things down. Rust leather armchairs warm up the blue of Frivole, and a glossy dark purple seat anchors the ochre of Beat.
