Erosion wallpaper by Masureel: stone, water and paint on the wall

The Erosion wallpaper by Masureel draws its imagery from rock that has been eroded by water and time. You see sawn agate, salt crusts and cracked mineral, translated into watercolour and graphic lines. The shapes are never completely regular: ovals bleed out, rectangles differ in width and polygons are cut through by thin cracks. This keeps the wall moving, even when the colour palette is calm. The collection alternates large panoramic panels with smaller repeating patterns, so you can choose a wall that starts a conversation or stays in the background.

Patterns in the Erosion wallpaper collection

Acharius wallpaper is a panoramic panel full of agate-like ovals with concentric bands in green, violet, blue-grey and lilac that merge like watercolour paint. Salina wallpaper arranges rounded rectangles in horizontal rows in beige, taupe and grey. Between the rows, paint drips run downwards and at the bottom the pattern fades. Magma wallpaper is smaller in scale and more graphic: angular polygons with fine hatching and light crack lines on dark aubergine. Rusty and weathered grey tones can be found in Corrosion wallpaper, rough stone texture in Suber wallpaper, vein-like movement in Ebru wallpaper and weathered earth layers in the panoramic Dirillo wallpaper. Lux wallpaper is plain with a linen look. Furthermore, Erosio wallpaper, Mimicry wallpaper, Eko wallpaper, Telis wallpaper, Flax wallpaper and Kos wallpaper belong to the collection.

Masureel wallpaper in your interior: choosing between colour and calm

If you choose colour, Acharius fills a dining room wall. A white round table and wooden chairs with cane seats let the green and violet speak freely there. Salina calls for soft fabrics: a grey curtain and a high-pile rug tie in with the beige and taupe. Magma comes into its own behind a light stone table with dark ceramics, where you only see the hatching up close. This way, Erosion by Masureel suits a space that wants to say a lot or very little.
