Expedition wallpaper by Arte: silk textures and jungle panoramas

The Expedition wallpaper by Arte takes you on a journey with two sides. On one side are calm walls with the fine, irregular stripes of raw silk fibres. On the other, greenery takes over: densely packed leaves, tropical birds and monkeys in a jungle that fills the entire wall. Many of the patterns share the same linework, horizontal like threads in a weave or vertical like stems reaching for the light. Within Expedition by Arte, you choose for yourself how bold your wall will be.

Patterns in the Expedition wallpaper collection

Tasar wallpaper shows horizontal, irregular stripes that resemble raw silk fibres, in petrol blue with lighter white-grey lines. The seams remain visible, so the wall is divided into wide panels. Eri wallpaper follows the same structure with a light sheen, but in light grey, off-white and beige. Java wallpaper changes course completely. Long, narrow leaves of reed or bamboo grow upwards close together, painted with visible brush strokes in olive green, khaki, brown and blue-green on a dark background. Silk Road Garden wallpaper presents a tropical jungle panorama against a golden background, with or without a tiger. In Samutra wallpaper, hornbills and capuchin monkeys play in the Sumatran rainforest.

Combining Expedition wallpaper with wood, chrome and velvet

The lifestyle images show how versatile this Arte wallpaper is. Petrol-blue Tasar is warmed by walnut wood, a beige bouclé chair and a light oak floor. Eri suits a white capitonné sofa, chrome and concrete, with a single red lamp as an accent. Java calls for deep tones: a blue velvet armchair with brass caps and a dark cabinet keep the green in check. This way, you decide whether the wall serves as the backdrop or takes the leading role.
