Flower Murals

Flower mural wallpaper is printed to the measurements of one specific wall, so a peony or a trailing branch lands where you want it instead of wherever a standard roll happens to break. Measuring a wall for a made-to-measure mural

Take the width at the baseboard and again near the ceiling, then the height on the left, center and right. Drywall is rarely square, and the largest figure is the one to send us. Most rooms run 8 ft (2.44 m) or 9 ft (2.74 m) floor to ceiling; a living room feature wall often falls between 12 ft (3.66 m) and 14 ft (4.27 m) across. Note what the print works around: a door head at 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m), a window, a fireplace chase.

One continuous image across numbered strips

We scale the artwork to those numbers and check the crop before printing. The design then arrives as numbered strips: strip one against the corner, strip two butted up to it, the flowers carrying on across the join so a stem runs from the baseboard to 9 ft (2.74 m) up without a break. How scale and color work in a flower mural

A small, dense flower pattern reads as texture from across the room; one oversized bloom over 12 ft (3.66 m) becomes the first thing anyone looks at, so the rest of the room can stay plain. Pale grounds with fine line work keep a north-facing room light, while a deep planted background pulls a large space in closer. An entryway gives the design a full view from the front door, and a stair wall carries a tall composition better than any other wall. Behind a headboard, half the pattern stays covered, so it reads as a frame rather than a whole garden. With a ceiling at 8 ft (2.44 m), a powder room puts the artwork close to the eye.

Non-woven backing and hanging on drywall
