Elitis Galerie wallpaper with arches, bookshelves and stars

Galerie wallpaper by Elitis turns a wall into architecture. Arches rise in tiers, shelves fill with book spines, and stars lock into a grid of squares. Every motif is printed tone on tone, so you notice the shape through texture before you notice color. The dark designs read like mottled velvet, with a surface that shifts as the light moves across it. The pale linen versions work in relief, letting shadow draw the pattern. From across the room the wall looks graphic. Step closer and it gains depth.

Designs in the Galerie wallpaper collection

Colisée wallpaper stacks rows of rounded arches like a Roman arcade, with tall tiers alternating with shorter ones and divided by horizontal bands. The scale is generous. Each tall arch is roughly a hand span wide, in dark teal with near black outlines. Boudoir wallpaper swaps the arches for a bookcase, with about eight shelves of upright spines in varying widths and heights, dark brown on near black with a soft flocked look. Boudoir Lin wallpaper repeats that bookcase in cream, raised in relief on a linen texture, so the pattern shows mostly in the shadows along its edges. Hélios wallpaper and Hélios Lin wallpaper build a geometric grid of stars and squares, the first with a fabric look and the second with the grain of linen.

Styling Galerie by Elitis in bedrooms and living rooms

This Elitis wallpaper works best beside one clear contrasting color. Mustard bedding glows against the teal arches of Colisée, and orange lounge chairs stand out in front of Boudoir. The cream Boudoir Lin asks for colored glass and something green, such as amber and purple bottles beside an olive branch. Choose a dark design and the wall becomes the backdrop. Choose a light one and your objects lead. Selected Wallpapers carries all five Elitis Galerie wallpaper designs, so you can pair the motif with the room you have.
