Elitis Hanji wallpaper with blocks, grids and hand-drawn lines

Hanji wallpaper by Elitis is built on blocks and lines that look as if they were set down by hand. Every design starts from a quiet base in beige, cream or off-white. From there, Elitis gives each pattern its own rhythm. In one, loose shapes stack into columns. In another, a grid splits the wall into panels. The stroke or the scratch always stays visible, so the wall reads as something you want to touch. That makes the collection as comfortable in a calm dining area as in a seating area where sun falls across the lines.

The designs in the Hanji wallpaper collection

Takara wallpaper works at a large scale. Rounded blocks in metallic gold stack into columns roughly as tall as a dining table, each one brushed with fine strokes and split by thin rust-red lines. Behind them, the beige ground warms toward peach and terracotta near the floor. Koshi wallpaper sets out a strict grid of cream squares, each combed with grooves that run vertically, horizontally or on the diagonal, with a gray-brown shade caught in the lines. Nishino wallpaper is more graphic. Charcoal brushstrokes on off-white mark out panels about the width of a seat, thickening where they cross and sometimes running past the corner. Noto wallpaper fits geometric panels together like inlay, with gold metallic effects. Toshima wallpaper turns to circles in alternating color combinations.

Styling Hanji by Elitis in dining and living spaces

Because the base stays neutral, Hanji by Elitis sits easily next to natural materials. Takara picks up terracotta and stoneware, which echo the warm lower edge of the pattern. Koshi holds its own beside dark wood, where the cream squares read pale and bright. With Nishino, black metal frames and light upholstery sharpen the grid. Light from the side brings out the lines and grooves in this Elitis wallpaper, and at Selected Wallpapers you can browse each Hanji wallpaper design side by side.
