Islander wallpaper collection Thibaut

Islander wallpaper by Thibaut: tropical motifs from beach and sea

Islander wallpaper brings the coast and the tropics to your wall, with orchids, sand dollars, palm leaves and even iguanas. Thibaut draws and paints these subjects as if they were handmade: sometimes in fine white lines, sometimes in flowing watercolour, sometimes in short, bold brushstrokes. The base is often light blue or white, keeping the colours fresh. In the images you can see how this works in a bedroom with white bedding or a sitting room with a view of palm trees. Depending on the pattern, the design either fills the entire wall or stays quietly in the background.

Combining Thibaut Islander wallpaper in your home

The three lifestyle images show how different the scale can be. Island orchid and Under the sea fill an entire wall with large motifs, while Sand dollar works up close as a fine grid behind a coral-red cabinet. Combine the Thibaut wallpaper with white furniture and blue or turquoise accents, as in the sitting room with hydrangeas. If you want more colour with Islander by Thibaut, look for contrast with orange-red.
