Madagascar Arrowroot Raw Raffia wallpaper collection Elitis

Madagascar Arrowroot Raw Raffia wallpaper by Elitis in warm fiber tones

The Elitis Madagascar Arrowroot Raw Raffia wallpaper collection puts fiber on your wall, with fine horizontal lines and uneven slubs that shift in tone as the light moves. The palette stays warm and earthy, running from sand and beige to terracotta, ochre and aubergine. Some designs are texture without a motif. Others fill the whole wall with painted forms, from abstract ovals to palms and tropical foliage. So you can pick a quiet backdrop for rattan, wood and linen, or a wall that sets the mood of the room on its own.

Designs in the Madagascar Arrowroot Raw Raffia wallpaper collection

Raffia II wallpaper is a plain woven look in sand and beige, with tan and ochre flecks running through fine horizontal slubs. Up close you see the weave, and from across the room it reads as a calm surface. Arrowroot wallpaper follows the same direction with a streaky fiber in terracotta orange, lifted by lighter beige strands. Next to a bedside lamp the color starts to glow. Madagascar wallpaper also keeps to texture, with organic lines and a subtle sheen. Ova prima wallpaper lays large overlapping ovals in a translucent watercolor wash across a beige fiber ground, in black, olive, brown and ochre. La carvelle wallpaper is a painted panorama of palm trees and feather grasses on a cream background, with tropical foliage along the bottom. Nosara wallpaper shows a tropical landscape bathed in golden tones.

Styling Elitis wallpaper from Madagascar Arrowroot Raw Raffia

In the photos, Raffia II sits behind rattan chairs, a wicker wall sconce and a rough stone pillar, while Arrowroot backs a bed dressed in beige linen and a wooden side table. Ova prima holds its own above a green sofa and a log coffee table. Choose a texture if you want furniture and textiles to lead, and a mural if the wall should carry the room.
