Marqueteries wallpaper by Nobilis: wood inlay as a pattern on the wall

Marqueteries wallpaper by Nobilis transfers the image of wood inlay to the wall. In each pattern, the direction of the grain or strip determines the design: where surfaces meet, the light shifts and creates definition. The colours stay close to wood, from grey-brown and dark brown to honey, sand and golden beige. Yet the three designs look very different from each other. One breaks up the wall into angular shards, another lays a strict grid of diamonds over it, the third lets arches run upwards in rows. So you first choose a rhythm and only then a colour.

Patterns in the Marqueteries wallpaper collection

Facettes wallpaper consists of irregular polygons that seem to fall over each other, like folded or broken planes. Each facet has its own grain direction, so that grey-brown, beige and dark brown intermingle without visible repetition. It looks dynamic and dark in tone. Verneuil wallpaper does the opposite: a regular grid of diamonds, each built up from triangles in which the grain radiates like a fan. In honey and light oak, the wall gets a calm, continuous rhythm. Arches wallpaper works on a large scale. Pointed arches lie in rows above each other, composed of narrow strips in lighter and darker bands that recall straw inlay. Sand, light beige and golden beige keep the image light.

Combining Marqueteries by Nobilis in your interior

The mood images show how the patterns react to what stands in front of them. Against Facettes, a red lacquered cabinet with brass trim and pink quartz obelisks stand out. Verneuil goes well with a white bucket chair with a rust-orange cushion and a copper skirting board. Behind a wrought-iron console with hanging chain links, the arches of Arches provide a counterbalance instead. If you choose Marqueteries wallpaper, brass and gold always complement the warm wood tones.
