Elitis Matieres a Reflexions wallpaper with fine lines that catch the light

Matieres a Reflexions wallpaper by Elitis builds every surface from fine lines that you only notice up close. From across the room the wall reads almost plain. Step closer, or let the afternoon sun rake across it, and shapes appear as each patch of lines picks up the light at its own angle. Each graphic pattern stays within one color family, from beige and taupe to silver gray and apricot. The designs differ mainly in shape, so your real choice is between movement and calm.

Dedales wallpaper scatters large, irregular four-sided patches across the wall with no visible grid. The lines inside each patch run in a different direction, in beige and taupe with the odd grayish blue accent. Shown above a low bookshelf with yellow coffee tables, it gives a living room quiet movement. Circolo wallpaper stacks curved bands full of concentric lines in white and silver gray, with a metallic sheen that bounces light around a bathroom. Equilibre wallpaper is the orderly one: ribbed rectangular blocks in a staggered brick layout, in peach and apricot with slightly darker joints. For color, look at Abstract Floral wallpaper, a panel set with abstract flowers.

Placing Elitis Matieres a Reflexions wallpaper in living room, bathroom and dining room

The detail only shows when light falls across the wall at an angle, so hang these patterns next to a window or under a wall light. The muted colors leave room for bold furniture, like the black metal chair and pink glass vase shown with Equilibre. In daylight the wall looks different than it does in the evening, and that shift is the point of this Elitis wallpaper. You will find every design from the collection at Selected Wallpapers.
