Metallo wallpaper by Dedar: textile with a metallic sheen

Metallo wallpaper by Dedar brings textile to the wall: jute, linen and moiré, laminated with a metallic layer that catches the light. The colours are closely related, from sand beige and greige to taupe and a light pink beige. The difference lies in the weave. Some patterns show a coarse grid with visible slubs, others undulate across the wall in a moiré that seems to change shade with every step. So you can choose between calm and movement within one colour family.

Patterns in the Metallo wallpaper collection

In Acromo Metallo Wall wallpaper you see a coarsely woven jute in sand beige, with dark brown dots between the threads and here and there a thickening in the yarn. The two moirés take a different direction. Amoir Libre Metallo Wall wallpaper is handmade and shows vertical wavy lines in greige and taupe, close together on one side, blurring cloudily on the other, like wood grain under water. Amoir Fou Metallo Wall wallpaper instead lays the moiré horizontally and on a large scale, in wide glossy bands. If you prefer something calmer, look at linen: Mandolino Metallo Wall wallpaper is pure linen with a metallic finish, Fitzcarraldo Metallo Wall wallpaper a linen gauze with a light shimmer. Drusilla Metallo Wall wallpaper follows the irregular yarns of shantung, and Alter Ego Metallo W wallpaper combines a textured surface with a shimmering effect.

How Dedar metallic wallpaper works in a room

In the lifestyle photo of Amoir Fou you can see what the Metallo wallpaper does in a room. The undulating bands run across the full width of the wall, behind a sofa with an oval black top on two round wooden legs. The orange-brown wood and the woven floor keep the scene warm, while the sheen of the moiré moves with the light. If you choose a plain weave, your furniture gets more room.
