Natural Palette wallpaper by Greenland Wallcoverings: natural fibres in plain texture

Natural Palette wallpaper lets the wall speak through texture instead of pattern. Each design in this collection by Greenland Wallcoverings depicts a natural fibre or weave, from woven abaca and silk to linen, raffia, cotton, hemp, sisal and woven paper strips. The images show you what that does. A blue living room wall gains depth through fine horizontal fibres, an olive-coloured surface shows short light streaks and a sand tone reveals threads in two directions. The strips sometimes differ slightly in tone and the seams remain visible. That comes with the material.

Designs in the Natural Palette wallpaper collection

In the photo, Abaca shows a blue wall with fine horizontal fibres and strips that vary slightly in tone from one to the next. Star Silk is made of silk, in an olive-green-beige with short light streaks in the weave. Linen has a sand-coloured cross weave with irregular threads and natural imperfections, and Linen Vertical sits alongside it as a separate variant. Things get coarser with Raffia, made of woven raffia, and softer with the cotton Soft Comfort. Hemp and Sisal are hand-woven, from hemp and sisal respectively. Paper Weave Art consists of woven paper strips in many variations and colours, with Paper Weave Fine as a second paper design. The range is completed with Jute, Wood Veneer and Cork.

Choosing colour and direction in Natural Palette by Greenland Wallcoverings

Because no design has a pattern, you choose mainly by colour and direction. Abaca and Star Silk run horizontally and give the wall a lateral flow. Linen works with threads in two directions and therefore looks more even. In the rooms shown, the wallpaper is paired with a dark grey sofa, bronze tones, copper, white marble and dark wood. Natural Palette wallpaper calls for materials like these, which let the fibre stand out instead of overpowering it.
