Nature of Sorts wallpaper by DWC: walls of linen, silk and velvet

Nature of Sorts wallpaper brings together three textile wallcoverings in earth tones, from ochre brown and caramel to light beige and bronze. Two designs are plain and let their weave do the talking. The third contrasts this with a lustrous abstract pattern. Up close you see threads, slubs and fine stripes. From a distance you see a warm, calm expanse of colour. The DWC collection revolves around texture rather than motif. This makes it suitable for living rooms and bedrooms where the material is allowed to do the work. You can choose between linen, matte silk and velvet jacquard.

Designs in the Nature of Sorts wallpaper collection

Linen wallpaper has an ochre-brown to caramel-coloured linen structure with crossing threads and small slubs. There is no motif, just the weave catching the light. In the mood photo it hangs behind a cream-coloured bouclé sofa and a lamp with a black marble base. Silk wallpaper is lighter and calmer: light beige to greige, with fine horizontal stripes in matte silk. The seams remain visible, giving the wall a rhythm of vertical panels. This really comes into its own next to a cognac-coloured leather sofa. Caribou wallpaper goes in a different direction. Grey-lilac patches with frayed edges and a velvety sheen sit on a bronze-brown, coarsely woven background. The abstract pattern runs across the entire wall.

Combining Nature of Sorts by DWC in your interior

Because all three wallcoverings stay within earth tones, you can use them side by side in the same home. Use Linen or Silk in the living room as a calm backdrop for leather, marble and plants. Caribou calls for a wall you enjoy looking at, such as the one behind the bed. A directed spotlight better brings out the sheen on the velvet areas. DWC's plain-woven wallpapers also gain depth when light grazes across them.
