Ottavia wallpaper by Romo: ginkgo, tree canopies and painted landscapes

Ottavia wallpaper by Romo brings nature to your wall in lines and brushstrokes. Ginkgo leaves, tree canopies, feathery fans and roses form the subjects, rendered in drawn linework or in a painted, watercolour-like style. Sometimes a light motif stands out sharply against an almost black background. Sometimes motif and background merge tone on tone. Besides the repeating patterns, the collection contains two murals that fill an entire wall with one image. So you choose between a pattern that repeats and an image that takes over the wall.

Patterns in the Ottavia wallpaper collection

Kiana wallpaper lets white and grey ginkgo leaves on thin, beige-gold branches wind across an anthracite to black background, vertically and diagonally. Matt and metallic alternate. Shiri wallpaper works on a small scale. Overlapping fans of fine lines in gold and beige form a texture without direction, reminiscent of feathers up close. Sikora wallpaper fills the wall with densely packed tree canopies, painted in grey-green, sage green and cream, like a forest without clearings. Mima wallpaper sets colourful leaves against a background that adds depth. The two murals are hand-painted. Cielo Mural wallpaper opens the wall to a wide horizon, and Ottavia Mural wallpaper lets roses on hanging branches cascade downwards.

Ottavia by Romo at home: light, dark and tone on tone

Kiana calls for a room that can be dark, such as a dining room or study where copper, bronze and glass shine against the black background. Shiri and Sikora keep things calmer and suit a bedroom or sitting area, because the pattern merges into texture from a distance. If you want one wall to speak, choose one of the murals. With Ottavia wallpaper you tailor the contrast in each room to how you want to live there.
