Panoramic Murals

Panoramic mural wallpaper is one image printed across a whole wall, made to the size of that wall instead of sold by the roll. You send the width and the height, the artwork is laid out to those figures, and the file is split into numbered panels. On a 12 ft (3.66 m) wall under a 9 ft (2.74 m) ceiling, the horizon line lands where you want it rather than wherever a repeat falls.

Measuring your wall before you order

Take the width three times: at the baseboard, at mid-height and just under the ceiling, then the height at both ends and in the center. Drywall is rarely dead square, and an inch or two (2.5 to 5.1 cm) decides whether the design finishes clean in the corner, so send the largest figure each way. Note where doors and windows sit, so the layout keeps a focal point off a frame.

Numbered panels and one continuous image

Each mural arrives as numbered panels and hangs by number, with the seams set where the design can carry them. Across a 16 ft (4.88 m) feature wall you get one scene corner to corner, with no repeat and nothing cut off. The same artwork gets a different panel division on a 10 ft (3.05 m) wall than on a 20 ft (6.10 m) one, and that is the working difference between a mural and rolled wallpaper.

A stairwell with a 16 to 20 ft (4.88 to 6.10 m) run of wall takes a large landscape without crowding it. A powder room is small enough that one image can turn every wall into a single picture. Behind a king headboard, about 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) wide, a calmer composition holds up better; full contrast belongs in a dining room or an entryway you read from across the space.
