Soie Bois Losange wallpaper has the largest pattern: light brown diamonds with vertical grain, framed by diagonal bands in dark wood. Those bands are divided into segments that alternate between red-brown and almost black-green, so they appear to overlap each other. The diamonds are large in size, so only a few fit side by side on a wall. Soie Bois Tresse wallpaper is smaller and denser. Rectangular pieces of veneer in shades from almost black to mauve-brown form a diagonal weave, with light squares at each intersection. The pattern repeats often and reads from a distance as texture. Soie wallpaper leaves out the wood and is plain silk in dark aubergine-brown. Fine horizontal stripes and slubs give the surface the texture of raw silk, with copper-coloured fibres in between.
