Textura wallpaper collection Arte

Textura wallpaper by Arte: texture without pattern

Textura wallpaper is about surface rather than pattern. The Textura wallpaper collection by Arte brings linen, silk, fibre and weave to the wall, without florals, figures or graphic motifs. What you see is thread: fine lines, crossing grids and stripes that shift in width and colour. In the photos, you'll notice how the light responds to it. A palm leaf shadow glides over an ochre yellow fibre wall, while a terracotta linen structure lights up beside a window overlooking the garden. From a distance, the wall reads as one colour. Up close, the thread emerges.

Designs in the Textura wallpaper collection

Lignes wallpaper has fine horizontal fibres in ochre yellow, with lighter and darker threads intermingling as in raffia. Gioco wallpaper shows a dense grid of crossing threads in terracotta with light flecks, a linen structure you only see properly up close. Tasar wallpaper is coarser: blue-green stripes with white and grey, irregular like wild silk, where the seams between the strips remain visible. Aspero wallpaper and Canvas wallpaper continue with linen. Aspero does so with a thicker weave pattern and colour gradations, Canvas with the recognisable structure of real linen in colours from classic to bright. Nongo wallpaper is based on woven baskets, Pandan wallpaper presents weave in tile form with diagonal lines and Weave wallpaper resembles woven inlay work. With Cuadro wallpaper the series is complete.

Combining Textura by Arte with furniture and light

In the mood images, the plain walls always get a counterpart. A black wire chair and a brass side table made of round discs stand out sharply against the ochre of Lignes. With Gioco, a white cocoon lamp sits on a dark red stool in front of the terracotta wall. Tasar gets a cream-coloured bouclé chair and a walnut desk on a white high-pile rug. Because this Arte wallpaper has no pattern, you decide through furniture, light and materials what the wall says.
