Striato - Textures wallpaper by Casamance: lines that together form planes

The Striato - Textures wallpaper by Casamance builds each pattern from geometric planes filled with fine, parallel lines. Up close you see hatching, strokes and grooves. From a distance you make out shapes such as blocks, arcs and small polygons. Each pattern stays within one colour family, so the lines do the work and the wall remains calm. The colours range from sage green and light grey-green to cream and beige. This way you choose between a green wall with a strong presence and a light background that recedes behind your furniture.

Patterns in the Striato - Textures wallpaper collection

Pienza wallpaper stacks rectangular blocks of different sizes on top of each other. Each block is filled with horizontal brushed stripes and here and there a lighter smudge, in several shades of sage green. Intonaco wallpaper is a relief pattern in tone-on-tone light grey-green. Fine vertical grooves are interrupted by semicircles and quarter circles of concentric lines, as if a comb had been drawn through plaster. Volterra wallpaper is smaller in scale: a mosaic of squares, trapezoids and triangles in cream and light beige, where each plane is hatched in its own direction, like marquetry. Where Pienza stays straight, Sienna wallpaper places diagonal blocks with horizontal lines on a beige base. Pitigliano wallpaper abandons the geometry and opts for undulating lines in relief, like worked plaster.

Combining Striato - Textures by Casamance with wood and ceramics

The Striato - Textures wallpaper works well with walnut wood, terracotta and brown ceramics. The sage green of Pienza is counterbalanced by a sofa in brown velvet and green bouclé. Volterra gives a curved wall and a floating desk a light background. If you choose green, warm wood can stand close to it. With cream and beige, your furniture sets the tone.
