Contrappunto wallpaper by Glamora: lines and planes on a wall scale

Contrappunto wallpaper by Glamora brings large-scale images to your wall. Most patterns are designed as a single continuous panel without a repeat. Fine lines, plain surfaces and loose brushstrokes sit side by side and on top of one another, in black, greige, grey and off-white. Sometimes the contrast is stark, as with a light circle in a black frame. Elsewhere it almost disappears and everything works tone on tone. Many patterns feature a strip of thin dashes that look hand-drawn and gently undulate. This keeps even a strict composition lively when you stand close to it.

Patterns in the Contrappunto wallpaper collection

With Compasso wallpaper you get a large circle in a black field. Thin lines cut through it and run across the frames as a staggered grid. Figura wallpaper builds the wall from vertical panels, one of which features grey fern fronds hanging over a black brushstroke. Lighter is Cinetica wallpaper: translucent rectangles tilt in a fan, next to a panel of undulating black threads. Ink wallpaper revolves around one long, diagonal stroke in black-brown with frayed edges. In Shift wallpaper you see prints of a monstera, serrated leaves and blades of grass between crisp vertical planes. Interasse wallpaper tilts a skewed black frame over a taupe surface, and Winkel wallpaper draws rectangles and wide arcs with thin black lines. Raster wallpaper comes in two colourways. Tape wallpaper and Xero wallpaper complete the collection.

Contrappunto by Glamora in loft, living room and bedroom

In the mood images, the panels hang in spaces with dark wooden beams, track spotlights and brick walls. Compasso fills the wall behind a round black table with tubular-frame chairs. Figura hangs between two arched windows, with two Barcelona chairs in front. Cinetica hangs next to a low platform bed and stays calm thanks to its tone-on-tone surfaces. With Contrappunto wallpaper you decide how much attention a wall demands: lots of black for a clear focal point, little for a sense of calm.
