White Writings Mural wallpaper collection Dedar

White Writings Mural wallpaper by Dedar: bamboo, signs and lines on textile

With White Writings Mural wallpaper you bring drawn walls into your home: lines that lie on a woven background as if someone had set them down with pen or brush. In this collection, Dedar works with two kinds of visual language. On the one hand, there are figurative scenes of bamboo, narrow leaves and long-tailed birds in soft earth tones, where the drawing and background are closely matched. On the other, you'll find abstract, graphic patterns in which signs, contours and strokes play the leading role. The structure of the weave remains visible in both cases, so the wall retains a textile character.

Patterns in the White Writings Mural wallpaper collection

Lost in Nazca Wall wallpaper lays a labyrinthine pattern on shantung silk. Yamnaya Letters Wall wallpaper refers to cuneiform and ancient scripts. In Za Wall wallpaper, a matte pattern of expressive strokes lies on a glossy background. In Ze Wall wallpaper, signs move freely over jute. Goral Wall wallpaper and Marmore Wall wallpaper complete the series.

Choosing Dedar wallpaper: figurative bamboo or graphic lines

If you choose the bamboo patterns of White Writings Mural by Dedar, the wall gets a drawing that only reveals itself up close. The low contrast between line and background gives the wall a calm look, while the birds and butterflies reveal details on closer inspection. If you want the wall to make an immediate statement, the graphic patterns are a better fit: the black contours of Dimodong can be read from a distance. This way, within a single White Writings Mural wallpaper collection, you choose how prominent the pattern is.
