The Columbia wallpaper from Pierre Frey’s Paralleles II collection is an expressive and elegant wallcovering that combines a South American-style multicoloured stripe pattern with French tradition. This striking design is a reinterpretation of a 19th-century French document carefully preserved in the Maison’s archives. Woven mainly from linen and laminated onto a strong non-woven backing, Columbia exudes both craftsmanship and cultural richness.

Columbia pays homage to the colourful textile traditions of South America, with vibrant stripes that evoke a warm, energetic atmosphere. At the same time, the design remains true to French refinement, resulting in a unique blend of vibrancy and elegance. Columbia is based on an original 19th century French stripe pattern, reinterpreted for a contemporary environment by the Pierre Frey design team. Linen weaving creates a rich, natural texture, while nonwoven lamination ensures durability and ease of wall application.
