The Forma wallpaper Daisy James

The Forma wallpaper by Daisy James: color fields with a meandering line

The Forma wallpaper lets fields of rust red, gray-blue and sage green slide over one another, with a single thin cream line winding right through them. Vertical bands sit alongside rounded and leaf-like shapes, and where they meet they become partly translucent. This creates new shades at the transitions. On the right, a loose curved line floats on its own, guiding the eye back to the center. The wide, landscape-format image suggests a continuous composition rather than a small pattern repeat, so the wall reads as a single painting.

Colours and painted look of The Forma wallpaper

The palette runs from burnt orange and apricot through sand and cream to chocolate brown and black. Grey-blue, sage green and dark forest green provide the cooler counterbalance. Everywhere you see brushstrokes, grainy patches and a paper-like texture, as if the fields were painted, cut out and layered on top of each other. This collage effect gives the surface depth without making it busy. Because the line keeps returning in cream, this Daisy James wallpaper retains its coherence, no matter how many colors sit side by side.

Daisy James wallpaper as a focal point in your interior

Because the image is continuous, it looks its best on an open wall without cabinets or frames in front of it. The earthy tones pair well with wood, leather and linen, while the gray-blue and forest green can be picked up in cushions or an armchair. Want to know how large the shapes will appear on your wall?
